11Data Retention & Deletion

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from your account settings (confirmed with your password), or by submitting a request on our public account deletion page.

When an account is deleted, we remove the associated profile, posts, photos, videos, comments, likes, follows, notifications and sign-in credentials. Limited records (such as transaction logs or abuse-prevention records) may be retained in anonymized form where required by law or for legitimate record-keeping, and are never used to identify you afterward.

Backup copies, where they exist, are removed in the ordinary course of their rotation cycle.
